Bird Song Mini Album

Hi Everyone!

I haven't been around in awhile because tax season really kicked my butt this year! LOL!! Well I am so happy it is finally over and now I get to share some of the projects I have been working on with you and some great news too.

While I was gone I became a partner/administrator at one of my favorite swapping sites: www.minialbumscraps.ning.com currently I host the Itty Bitty Mini Swap which is small mini albums no larger than 4x4, the regular mini album swap and the junk journal swap. I love swapping and we have some really awesome swaps going on this month. I would love for you all to come and check it out. Please make sure you read and follow the rules if you would like to join.  Not only do we have special swaps, but we have also been working very hard on getting our swappers low prices on their favorite products. We always do pre-sells on the G45 lines and there are two new ones coming out called Steam punk and Bohemian Bazaar. We will have different kits available depending on your price range and payment options.  Recently, we did the New Tim Holtz paint sets and the Prima Mixed Media Doll stamps as pre-sells also (these are now closed). I do think we might have some TH Paints left over though.  So I definitely, encourage you to check out the site and to join some swaps if you would like, they are very addicting and SO much fun!!

Ok, here is some more exciting news LOL! Since tax season is so busy and just takes all of my creativity right out of me, I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and buy a mini album tutorial from Kathy Files over are Paper Phenomenon.  Ok, I love her youtube videos but just wasn't sure if I could make an album like that. So, I tried and this is what I came up with.

I love how it turned out and I can't wait to make more! I enrolled/bought her Back to the Basics class and just can't wait until it starts.

Thanks for visiting today!

Marilyn Monroe Cards

Happy New Year a little late!

I am off to a slow start this year. I have been horribly sick and am just now starting to feel better. I caught a little cold around Christmas and it turned into Bronchtis and a bactorial infection. I am done with my antibotics and starting to feel like my old self again or close to it LOL!

Well Christmas was fun at our house. I had 15 days off which was nice, but I really didn't get any crafting done because I was so sick and mostly slept and relaxed the whole time. This cold really ruined my plans of two weeks of crafts.

Now that it is the new year I wanted to share some of my crafty resolutions for this year.
1. Blog at least three times a week with projects and at least one video
2. Finish my daughters baby album (she is turning 4 next week) so I am a little behind
3. Try to join more swaps and blog challenges
4. Try to comment more on the blogs I visit

So what are your crafty resolutions?

Today I wanted to share with you 3 Marilyn Monroe cards I made for a swap I was in, in November. Now that everyone has gotten their cards back I can share what I made.

So the swap was to make cards with at least one image of Marilyn Monroe and one of her quotes. The quotes could either be on the outside or the inside of the card. I just love the way these turned out.

Jaded Blossom December Challenge: Crafters Choice

Hi Everyone
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Mine was very busy. I have had this horrible cold that just won't go away and it hasn't stopped snowing here since last week. Today is this 1st day I have felt a little better and I cleaned up my craftroom a little to get a project done for the Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge.
If you haven't checked out their stamps you have to take a looksy lou here. I absolutely LOVE them. I only have a couple of sets but they are some of the best stamps I owe. They made them mainly for using on gifts and they just have the cutest sayings!

Here is some little gifts I made for our friends children. I used the stamp set called Reindeer Magic. I got this set from my sister for Christmas and I couldn't wait to try it out.

This is the Reindeer Poop poem, I just love it! This is the front of the tag I created
and the back.
These are the little bags I made.
I filled them up with Christmas Hersey kisses, mint, almond and regular.
You can enter the Challenge over at Jaded Blossom.

Charm Bracelet & Chunky Charm

Hi crafties!
I have been busy making Christmas presents and wanted to start sharing some of my ideas and projects with you.

This project was actually for my sister's birthday. Her kids are really into Pop Warner Football and in Reno all the teams are Wolf Pack- just different colors. Our University is also Wolf Pack so this worked out perfect for my project because the colors are the same.
First I made her this Chunky Charm bracelet, this was the 1st one I have ever made and I just love the way it turned out.

Next I made her this awesom Chunky Charm she could hang on her bag or use as a keychain.

I just love how these turned out! If you are interested in any of the charms or bracelets I show on here just email at creationswithbecka at yahoo dot com.
I do take custom orders.
